Who should get the flu vaccine?

The flu vaccine is routinely given on the NHS to:

Anyone aged 65 years and over.

People aged six months to under-65 years who are in risk groups.

People in care homes.

Pregnant women.

Children aged two to ten (but not eleven years or older) on 31 August 2019. (4-10 year olds will be offered the vaccination at school)

Anyone in close contact with people who have compromised immune systems.
